Voxta Hub (hub.voxta.ai) and Voxta Hub Red (hub.voxta.red) are run by Voxta LLC, 30 N Gould St #11651, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. This page covers what the Hub keeps. Your Voxta account itself, sign-in and billing, is covered by Voxta's privacy policy.
What we keep
- Your account on the Hub: your Voxta user ID, your role, your storage use, whether and when you confirmed you're 18 or older on each site, the most mature rating you chose to see, the team you belong to, any suspension, and the date you were last active. If you take an age check, the date you passed it, whether it looked at a selfie alone or an identity document, and the reference of the last check you started. We don't store your email address or your sign-in provider's details.
- Your public profile, if you create one: handle, picture, bio and links. These are public.
- What you publish: your uploads, their ratings, listings and readmes, when you submitted them, and when you confirmed the publish statement. Approved content is public.
- What you do on the Hub: likes, bookmarks, follows and downloads, reports you file, and messages with moderators. Like and download counts are public; who liked, bookmarked, followed or downloaded something is not, and neither is the rating you chose. Moderators can read messages sent to or from them.
- Takedown requests: what you send with the form, including your name, email and, for copyright notices, your address and phone. For a copyright counter-notice, the law has us pass the sender's name and contact details to the person who sent the notice.
Your location
The Hub uses your IP address to work out your country and, in the United States, your state, because some laws require age verification for adult content. The lookup runs on our servers against a local database; nothing is sent to a third party for it, and neither the address nor the location is stored with your account. Our hosting and delivery providers (Microsoft Azure, Cloudflare) process IP addresses to deliver the sites and may log them briefly for security.
Age checks
Where the law asks for more than your word that you're 18 or older, Voxta Hub Red offers an age check, run for us by Didit (didit.me) as our processor. It's optional, and only lifts that region's limit for your account. You take a selfie, which Didit checks is a live person; in the UK, Didit estimates your age from it, and asks for an identity document only if you look under 25, reading the document and matching it to the selfie. Your selfie and document are biometric data: we ask your explicit consent, a box you tick, before sending you to Didit. Didit uses them only to check your age, and deletes them within a month. The result Didit sends us includes what it read from a document (such as your name and date of birth); we use it only to decide whether you passed and don't store it. The Hub keeps only the date you passed, whether a selfie alone or a document did it, and the check's reference.
Moderation and legal reports
The text and a sample of the images in each upload are sent to OpenAI's moderation service, and each upload's thumbnails and first avatar pictures to Microsoft's PhotoDNA, which checks them against known child sexual abuse material. Moderators review uploads before they're public. Public images (thumbnails, previews, profile pictures) are delivered through Cloudflare, which checks them against known child sexual abuse material.
If content appears to be child sexual abuse material, we preserve it with the account information we hold and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, as US law requires. We also respond to valid legal requests from authorities.
Why we process it
- To provide the Hub you asked to use: your account, uploads and activity.
- Our legitimate interest in keeping the Hub safe and lawful: moderation, reports, abuse prevention.
- Legal obligations: the region lookup, reports to NCMEC, and takedown requests.
- Your explicit consent, for an age check you start.
The rating you choose and what you download on Voxta Hub Red can say something about your sexual preferences. We use it only to show you what you chose, never share it, and delete it with your account.
How long
- Your account data, the result of an age check included, until you delete it.
- Uploads, until you or a moderator delete them.
- Likes, bookmarks, follows and downloads, while the content and your account exist.
- Moderation records, takedown requests and the publish statement, as long as the content they concern; evidence preserved for a report, at least a year, as the law requires.
- A handle stays reserved after its profile is deleted, so nobody else can take it.
Who processes it, and where
Microsoft Azure (hosting, in the United States), Cloudflare (file storage and delivery), OpenAI (content moderation), Microsoft PhotoDNA (known child sexual abuse material) and Didit (age checks). Transfers from the EU and UK rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You can delete your uploads and your public profile on the Hub. To see, correct or delete everything the Hub keeps about you, email privacy@voxta.ai; we answer within a month. If you're in the EU or UK and think we've mishandled your data, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
The Hub is for adults only. We use no tracking cookies or analytics; your sign-in is kept in your browser's local storage, which is needed to stay signed in.
